Simple Problem: I upgraded my Telkom Internet Package from a 10Gig
line to an Uncapped line a few months ago.
When I called your call centre this evening I was told my line is
being "throttled", I was explained that my line is a 1Meg Uncapped
line but because I download to much telkom has slowed down my internet
speed to a crawl.
My question is, on your flyer advertising the Uncapped line which came
with my Telkom Bill, said nothing about "throttling"
I am not in a mood to be playing around with telkom as I have copied
iCASA in on this email and WILL be lodging a formal complaint with
this on Monday morning, August 5th, as I have been fighting with telkom for months
about the slow internet speed at my home, I am paying for a 1Meg line
but the best I get here is 0, 32 on a good day.
telkom is a multi-million Rand company, and you are using false
advertising trick to make money. I do not mind the cost, I will pay
double, but it is the speed I
