Intermitant Internet Connection

I bought a 24 month Data connection of 2 Gbyte data per month from Cell C 3 months ago. Even though I have a strong signal in the areas I work from, (Linksfield Ridge and Bryanston) the internet connection has been intermittent and the last month there has been long stretches in a day where I couldn't get to send email via the connection. Im using Gmail as my email program, and when there is no connection, unfortunately the emails get lost when I press send. The call centre said Cell C is investing and upgrading their network. However, I paid R1800 and I would like to move to a reliable Internet provider. Can I get compensated in a way to make up for lost productivity and inconvenience. I signed up for a working internet connection, not an intermittent one.
