Cancelled my contract via mail on 3/4/2013. Vodacom has all my details on file plus ID copy and no one contacted myself via phone like they did all of a sudden today. They asked for a copy of my ID and I send my ID number via mail with my full name and surname including my account number. Upon receiving accounts I did respond to customer care that I have cancelled the contract but no one phoned me back stating they need anything else. Being on the phone with Vodacom today now all of a sudden they've changed their policies and do except cancellations over the phone and via mail. I feel this is double standards and all over R540 that they billed me for something I did not even use! I feel that the whole process was handled in order to still bill myself and make money. Shocking thing is I cancelled my personal data card as my work is supplying management with data cards from... Vodacom. So it's not that they've lost anything. I am seriously disilutioned by this entire process and a very unhappy Vodacom customer!!!
