I had a telkom account for about 30months, i had my line moved from one residence to another when i cancelled my line they sent me a statement and penalised me R800 for only honouring 18months of a 24month contract. I ignored the statements knowing i owe them nothing they then sent me a lawyers letter demanding the money i didnt owe them, i paid the money in order to keep my name clean. I called soon after to claim my money back Telkoms incompetent employees then noted the problem on their side and said they would refund my money its nearly three months and i am still waiting on my refund I've been to the N1 city branch on numerous occasions but they cant even help me. I am totally and utterly disgusted with their service and i wouldn't recommend anyone to switch to telkom or purchase any of their products, they a pathetic organisation. I hope this complaint is brought under the CEO's attention not once did anyone apologise for the inconvenience.
