Denying Our Family A Basic Need of Owning A House

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the Vodacom Company. I feel so helpless and useless because this company has deprived my family of its most basic right of owning a house. What started off in January 2013 as my Wife phoned the company to cancel her contract which was lapsing in February 2013 quickly turned to a nightmare in July 2013 when we were told we couldn't have access to a home loan since my wife had been listed on the bureau as owing Vodacom money. When we phoned Vodacom to enquire which money do we owe them and why we were never informed of this amount before being listed on the bureau. What we received was a third degree questioning of trust and communication in our marriage from one Venon Montsiwagae (Legal Department consultant) who insisted that my wife without my knowledge went to Vanderbijlpark to reopen the same contract she closed in January 2013, Hogwash i said. As we sit here with no sense of direction of what the future will hold in terms of owning a house we have taken a decision to pay this dodgy amount to the mighty Vodacom while an "internal investigation" is ongoing. Talk about inconvenience to the last degree. Not happy at all
