Incompotent Telkom ADSL

On the 8th of July 2013 Telkom installed an ADS line at my home. I have been try several times a day without success to get an username and password form the internet department at Telkom. In sheer desperation I took time off work and went to the Telkom shop at Clearwater mall. I saw a consultant named Peter who tried to help me and said that his manager would call me back on the 24th of July 2013. I am still waiting for that phone call. On Friday the 26th July I was given a fault number 554105929, which is non existent on the fault tracking website. The range of excuses is laughable, from incomplete loading of the original order to the consultant who does not respond to request to correct the error, to me confusing the call centre consultant! I have been paying for this service since the 8th of July 2013 which I am not receiving through no fault of my own. I I am unable to cancel the contract as I have signed up for 24 months. The only reason I applied for a landline was to get ADSL.
