Uncapped Internet - Really!!!

I recently "upgraded" my internet bundle from 10 Gb to uncapped on a 1 Mb speed line at an additional - R70.00 per month. This was done via the Telkom's Internet Call Centre.
All was fine until -20th of the month and suddenly my internet speed slowed dramatically.
The speed test on telkom's site reported that my down and upload speeds only reached .35 mbps and was as low as .03 mbps. I put this down to the normal fluctuations in the supply which can be very slow at times. After for more than a week of this, I phoned the call center at noon Saturday. After waiting for service for over 25 minutes, I rang off. I again tried a 20:00 and after waiting for 13 minutes, a very helpful Godfrey answered.
He told me, quite correctly, that I had used a large amount of data. I stated that I was paying for an uncapped data bundle. He stated that Telkom had the right to throttle back the speed at their discretion even though I paid for an uncapped supply and referred me to Telkom's Fair Usage Policy.
I thus alert other prospective users that uncapped is not always uncapped and read the fine print even though Telkom Call Center will not alert you to this at initiation!!!
