14 days to resolve query

The data bundle on my smart phone is depleted, so I purchased a once off bundle on the Vodacom website. The bundle didn't load on my account, so I contacted Vodacom. I need the data for the rest of the month, there are 3 days left, they tell me it will take 14 days, so what is the point of buying data when I only will receive it 14 days later when I won't be needing it anymore, since it will then be a new month and new data will automatically be allocated!!!
