Cell C
Why must I pay for their mistake??

Ive signed up with Cell C about 2004/2005. In July 2009 I was told by Nhla at Cell C that i am due for an upgrade however I decided not to take the upgrade. Nhla told me to give 1 months written notice which we did, we paid the balance outstanding plus the one months notice amount (premium) and send the proof of payment together with the letter to nhla. In August they phone me, requesting me there is another R109 outstanding and after having a dispute because I allready received and paid the final amount, I had to pay the R109 and send proof of payment again. That was the last time I heard from Cell C... Up to last week 2013!!! 4 years later they phone me and tell me I was not due for an upgrade and there is an amount of R900 outstanding and should pay this asap otherwise they hand me over to attorneys!!! Can you believe this??? After having numerous fights with the callers, explaining to them that how can Cell C give me instruction to write a notice letter, give me a final balance to pay, phone again the month thereafter for another payment and NOW 4 YEARS LATER telling me I owe Cell C R900??? This is shocking!!! Shoulnt Cell C take responsibility for their actions
