I upgraded my Contract on 29.6.13 from a Blackberry Cure (R199p/m) to a Z10 (R399p/m). The shop assistant made the sim swap and told me it will be up & running in 2 -3hrs. 3hrs passed & the sim card didnt work. I phoned the customer care & was advised to give it a few hours again. Finally in the evening the phone & sim card worked. I was able to bbm, phone etc. Sunday around 11am I got an error that the card is not activated. I finally got hold of customer care in the evening (after waiting for 20min) & I was advised that there was a sim swap interruption & their IT will look into it. I tried it again late evening & nothing happened. I tried it again this morning & still nothing. I phoned customer care (waiting another 20min) & I was advised of the same technical issue. Following that I was also advised that this specific phone does not come with bbm & whatsapp. I need to buy an additional data bundle, this was not as per the shop assistant that sold me the contract. The Customer care lady advised that saled guys sell up for commission & dont always give the full info. This is not acceptable. I went with the Z10 to have bbm & whatsapp. Now the sim doesnt work & i get ripped off!
