I have been travelling abroad for the last decade and have taken my blackberry on every trip. I use it for emergency work contact as i'm very aware of the high rates while roaming. I have just returned from Hong Kong & China to be greeted with a R4000.00 phone bill. None of which is for calls as i made less than 5 calls, all of which would have been under 1 minute each. I have asked MTN to submit the itemised billing which they don't seem to be able to do. It has taken more than 7 days and i still haven't received the itemised bill. Their turnaround time is 2-24 hours, really??? I'm now ready to rather cancel my contract altogether and move to another operator. Something has changed to the rates while travelling and MTN have not notified me at any stage!
