From 01/07/13 to 19/071/13 I was outside of SA, I mainly used BBM hoping it will cut my costs. When I returned to SA I got a bill of R6075.40 and my phone was blocked even though I was not able to use my phone to make calls or to browse the internet while abroad. I called MTN on the 22/07/2013 querying this billing. My dispute is if I have a credit limit of R4000.00, how in the world do they give me a bill for R6075.40. However my biggest complaint is that Mtn even allowed my contract to go beyond its limit amount without even notifying me;I was shocked to get a bill 6 times my contract limit. Mtn's explanation was that when one is roaming, they cannot keep track of call charges. I have called MTN over 10 times since the 22/07/2013 thus far trying to get this query sorted as to how these this amount arised. My ref are as follows :102293133, 102296020, 102299393, 102331736, 102331736, 102333947, 102390585.I'm now ready to rather cancel my contract altogether and move to another service provider feel robbed and cheated by MTN No one ever explains the detail behind billing etc. I have reported this issue to ICASA.
