On the 12th of July 2013 I took out an additional line on my existing contract. During the process I forgot to ask the sales consultant to port my MTN number to Vodacom. I received my handset on the 15/07/2013 and phone on the morning of the 16/072013 to cancel the contract as I had a new Vodacom number issue to me and did not want a new number. My new line was cancelled and I was told that the courier company will collect the handset from me with within 3 to 5 working days. I have been calling the after sales call centre on a regular basis to see when this handset will be collected from me. It's quite an inconvenience to carry a big box to work every day hoping it will be collected. I on many occasions was told that a pickup has been arranged. I have been in contact with the courier company and they have informed that there is no pick listed under my name. The really helpful lady at the courier company asked to get the collection number from Vodacom so she could track the request. I again called the after sales call centre this morning only to find that my collection has not even been arranged and it my request is still being processed. I have already been debit for the handset..
