Nashua Mobile
Extreme data usage without consent

On the 3rd of May I received an SMS from Nashua Mobile regarding my 1Gb data bundle being exhausted, whilst I initially ignored this and presumed it was an error I later received a soft block on my account a week later. After calling the customer service line several times I was told it was my phone and some apps must be communicating with the Internet. I then purchased a new phone, new SIM card but the data usage kept on increasing. My bill rose over R4, 500 and I had no choice but to let the debit order to through. I escalated my requests through my network and was put onto Hailey Dubber who assured me the issue would be in investigated. I now sit with another bill escalating out of control with no feedback in over 6 weeks!!! I received another data depletion SMS last week Thursday, and after loading another 500Mb, received an SMS on Sunday evening that my data bundle was AGAIN exhausted. I have turned off all location services on my iPhone 5, downloaded Onova app to track app usage, turned off all 'push' functionality but to no avail, my data still seems to have been 'hacked' in my view and no one at Nashua Mobile wants to help me. I have requested to cancel my contract now.
