OVERCHARGING without explanation

I have had a Galaxy Tablet since August 2012 for which I have been paying R 369 every month.
All of a sudden since May 2013 (NINE MONTHS) I have been charged in the region of R 860 - R 680.

When calling MTN I've been told that I have used too much data and that they have increased my cap by
R 300.

On speaking with a "consultant" I was told that I will get a breakdown on request but I won't be able to read it as it is very technical / complicated.

Transfering to the data department I was cut off.

I NEED TO KNOW (IN SIMPLE ENGLISH) WHY I AM PAYING SO MUCH MORE FOR USING THE SAME AMOUNT OF DATA ON MY TABLET FOR NINE UNINTERRUPTED MONTHS!!!
