To my understanding internet is one of the "free" stuff when you have BIS? I got billed last month with a thing called "GPRS DATA UPLINK". Nashua replied with: Thank you for your enquiry. Please be advised that BIS only covers your browsing and not any downloads. There may be an application continuously running on your device which is not covered under your BB service plan. Almost like a weather update or something similar which has constant updates. I replied: Surely you can see what is running, because you specified it as "GPRS DATA UPLINK". And if you can split BIS internet to GPRS DATA UPLINK, then I would like to know what is running in the background please. How else would the system know what is running other than your BIS internet? If I press and hold my BB button, nothing other than the normal standard applications shows. I am doing nothing different than the last 4 years when I started using BB. I also checked my BB contract with a different service provider and phone (MTN). And all my APPS is exactly the same on that phone. And no "GDU" charges whatsoever. Can you please show me what program is running in the background? I can not see what is running... please
