I was due for an upgrade and did a migration from MyCall 100 to a MTN data bundle, and since the migration I have had no internet access on the account in question.
I can make phone calls and send SMS, but there is no data throughput on internet, connections time out the whole time.
* I tested this account on a Nokia Symbian, Sony Aino, Samsung Galaxy Pocket, S2, S3 mini, an USB MTN modem and various phones in the MTN stores, no data connection.
* With the help of 1555 we changed every setting imaginable, nothing
* I did two SIM swaps, nothing
* Two different MTN stores tried to assist, still nothing. Even they get the run around from MTN headquarters.
This has gone on for three weeks now, and every time I get promised by 1555 that a supervisor will attend to the problem and contact me, so far no a peep. Three weeks of silence, every time, regardless of the reference number, I have to go through all the steps again, it seems no attention is given to the issue at hand.
Is there no one competent left that can assist one?
