WEAK 3G SIGNAL

I HAVE A PROBLEM FOR THE LAST 4 WEEKS NOW. I HAVE A BB 9320. SETTINGS ARE SET TO RECIEVE BOTH 3G AND EDGE SIGNAL. BUT FOR THE LAST FEW WEEKS 90% OF THE TIME I CAN ONLY CONNECT TO EDGE. WHATS THE USE OF HAVING A 3G PHONE IF ONLY EDGE IS AVAILABLE? IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH THE 3G SIGNAL IN MOKOPANE?
