Vodacom
Insurance claim declined

Good day

I'm enquiring as to my declined claim which I filed on Friday 12/07/2013 on my Vodacom number.

My claimed went as follows:
My vehicle was burgled on Thursday 11/07/2013 between the hours of 16:45 and 17:30, upon which my cell phone (Blackberry 9790) was.
On Friday the 12/07/2013 I proceeded by blocking the line and the phone for an ITC reference number, I then proceeded to open a police case and get the police case number to then take to the nearest Vodashop to process my claim.
On Saturday 13/07/2013 i was notified of a declined claim.

This is infuriating and frustrating. I have been a loyal customer for nearly 5 years with your insurance dept and twelve years with Vodacom, I have multiple contracts both of which are nearing renewal.

The grounds of declining my claim are extremely unreasonable, given that my vehicle was "thankfully" not further damaged during the loss of my phone. You therefore insist that the loss of my phone simply is not enough of an inconvenience and for me to benefit from the insurance I have been paying for, for the past 5 years, and in order for to benefit from this "peace of mind" I should have suffered more inconvenience.
