MTN corporate stores do not go out their way to help people. I had a cellphone claim. I was sent from carnival mall to east rand mall with no real help. The phone is insured by MTN and the employees don't know procedures. MTN have stock but no sim cards. Rude staff not willing to help or are to busy. Quoted prices change from initial call to the store. I spent approx. R200 in fuel for this claim. They don't have the original phone and then the contract changes.
My excess went from R350 to R650.
I am really not satisfied with the service I received and I have been a client with MTN since it started in South Africa. This is a good reason to change cell providers.
