To whom it may concern:
This is the third time I'm trying to correspond with Cell C with little success. Due to the fact that this letter will also be forwarded to the consumer board I feel the need to tell the whole story once again. In the last few weeks I came to the conclusion that there is little protection for normal citizen/consumers in South Africa as Cell C is not giving me any feedback and all communication with them is only one sided and coming from me. I was also told by their Rustenburg branch that if I don't pay the massive bills they send me my credit rating will be affected!
My predicament started when I upgraded to the Galaxy S4 just over 2 months ago at Cell C's Vaal Mall branch. The package I went for was the R399 a month which included 1 gig of internet data, 100 minutes and 100 sms messages over a 2 year period. The lady that helped me told me that I'm getting the phone 1 month early, and as far as I understood it I was to pay for both the old and new contracts I had with cell c for one month only. She never told me that I was not to get my 1 gig internet data. If at any point this was made clear to me I would have purchased an internet bund
