After placing an order for a residential telephone line installation (purely to facilitate the ability to obtain ADSL) a Telkom technician installed and tested my telephone jack.
After this, I called Telkom to request a conversion to ADSL. I'm still waiting on any word regarding this.
More importantly, I requested that I be sent an e-mail to confirm that Telkom has my correct details for billing.
The telephone consultant swiftly acknowledged and dismissed my request to the point of impoliteness.
I'm still waiting for the e-mail and any word on the ADSL line conversion - inconvenience awaits for both parties if my billing information is incorrect.
