I recently made an overseas trip and left my cell phone on just in case i was needed in the event of an emergency. When the phone rang i never answered the calls and either declined the call or let it terminate. I have now been billed an amount of R25.87 per incoimg call. The answer from customer services is read the small print on your roaming agreement, because the call went through to voice mail i am now expected to pay in each case. On checking my itemised billing i have been billed R25.87 irrespective of whether the incoming call was 4s or 20s, or whether a message was left or not.
What a rip off. R500 down the drain for not even taking one call. No wonder Vodacoms profits are excessive
