Poor service once again

I just phoned the Vodacom call centre for assistance with my account. After getting through to a call centre agent, and giving my details, the lady tells me she is unable to process my transaction as the system she works on is off line, and she can't get my account information. She tells me I must simply phone back later, in an hour or so. I am speechless, never experienced this before.

Apart from this being truly pathetic, incompetent, hopeless and unpromising service from such a large service provider, it also dampens my trust and loyalty to Vodacom. I spend a fairly large amount with them every month, more than R1000 and I expect exceptional service when I need it, but regrettably I get the opposite.

Not too long ago a Vodacom shop could not even process a sim swap for me as they were offline, this is truly worryingly. It saddens me that after many years of loyal service, this is the service I now receive.

I am not sure what has gone wrong or where the problem, but I truly hope that they can fix their service, as adverts from other service providers about switching networks are getting more and more appealing, especially with my contract expiring soon.
