Buy MyGig2 for R249 and get... NOTHING!

Early today I received a message saying my data bundle is low (3mb) as I do every month I dialed *111# and purchased a promotional item the MyGig2 for R249. I usually by the broadband std but it seemed like a good buy, so I continued and Vodacom was happy to take the money off my airtime but I never received any data. Instead I got a message saying my data bundle is depleted. Obviously the call centre was no help! Some one called me and said I used the 2gigs up. I use 1.5gigs a month so to do this in a few hours is pretty impossible and because I own a smart phone i can check my data usage at any point, for today only 18.38 mb have been used. now I have to query it someplace else. This is ridiculous, I want this corrected as in yesterday or my money back, I don't have airtime or data now. very unhappy custome
