Firstly I have to say that I have contacted my attorney and have gotten legal advice, this is my last and final attempt at getting through to somebody who could help me. On the 10th of March I took a contract out with Cell c for a blackberry Z10 as did my partner. On the 25th of May I was a victim of a highjacking and my cell phone was. I immediately contacted cell c and asked them about insurance to which the man who I will not name told me that I had not taken out insurance, as per my my lawyer cell is is by law meant to offer me insurance which they didn't. I was under the impression that it was included in my contract. At this grave disappointment I remembered that I had an old blackberry at my home, I took it to cell c the next day and asked them to change my plan from android to BIS and the man told me that this was not possible and I have to purchase a new phone which supports android to make use of my SIM card. Even when I told them I would pay the price I just needed it to be converted. These are all things that are not made clear when I took the contract out and according to the consumer protection act, all of the above mentioned incidents are against the law.
