Hi,
I recently took out 2 brand new Vodacom contracts. The first one is on a iPhone 5 smart XL and I use it for personal as well as business. This was done about 2 months ago. The second contract is a S4 smart M. This second contract was actually a gift to my girlfriend for her birthday.
My girlfriend has had to leave the country for the next 3 months and so won't be utilizing the contract I got for her. She took the sim with her as she needed to make contact with me at the airport.
Now the main question. Why can I not transfer the minutes from my one contract to the other. Let's look at this from a numerical perspective. My contract attracts a lower out of bundle rate. As you purchase a higher contract you get more minutes per rand. So technically speaking, I am transferring minutes with a higher cost per minute than my main account.
I simply cannot understand why Vodacom can not do this. I OWN BOTH CONTRACTS, both are in my name and there is no record that this contract belongs to anyone else, because it doesn't.
I really just want Vodacom to take some initiative here and allocate those minutes to my main contract for the next 3 months. After that, back to normal, simple
