Cannot understand how this company, which spends so much on advertising, is so under-equipped in terms of network coverage. I would understand if the network coverage is poor in outlying areas, however, I work in Sandton CBD and the network is absolutely shocking - constantly receiving SMS's saying that I have missed calls and no internet access whatsoever.
If you are looking at changing to Cell C or opening a new account - DO NOT! Although Cell C has very competitive (probably the best) rates, they have evidently mismanaged and not planned for adequate network coverage. This is unacceptable, as they will happily claim your money every month, and when you'd like to use your free minutes or data, there simply is no network coverage.
Very frustrated with this "service" that Cell C is providing.
