I reported my phone to cell c insurance on Tuesday 18th June with all the necessary documents completed. I was told that I will be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. On Thursday the same week I went to Cell C Tygervalley to follow up on the claim. The answer from the insurance department was that the claim was received and I would be notified by Friday. When I did not hear from them on Friday, I followed up telefonically. There I was told that the claim has been received (again) and it would now take another 24 to 48 hours before a decision on the claim will be made. The reason give was that the 24 to 48 hour period would only start once the claim is forwarded to the right person within the department!!! I told the Lady that this is rediculous. I insisted on a reference number (3061800474) for the call. She also promised that it will be finalised by today Monday 24. When I phone again today, I was told again that it would take 24 to 48 hours before a decision can be made. The reason being that the file must go the the assessor first. The original 24 to 48 hours are now almost a week and there is no end in site.
