I am insured with ABSA iDirect insurance. My phone was on 12 June, 9 days ago, I reported the claim on the 13th June and was told it had been registered and they would make a decision whether to payout or provide me with a new phone. I phoned them again on Thursday and Friday and was told that the decision was still pending. Monday was a public holiday but when I phoned on Tuesday I was told that they had not even registered the claim or even written down the IMEI number so who knows what the woman was writing down while I read it out to her. Today is Friday and I have just been told that the decision will be made on Monday which is what they have told em the whole week. I will immediately be moving my car, household and all insurance to another insurance company because this is absolutely poor service.
