No service? Must be damaged sim!!!

I had the misfortune of calling Cellc customer care on Sunday, 23 June 2013 @ 17h45. I wanted to query why BOTH my contract sims were displaying "No service" msgs. Lerato the intelligent, who didnt even confirm my personal details, nor check whether i in fact have two contracts and whether my lines are still active, cleverly concluded that both my sims became faulty at the same time so I have to buy two new sim cards and do two sim swops in order to retain my numbers. This would be done at my expense. When i asked her how on earth two sim cards can simply become defective at the same time her response was "that can happen". In other words "thats how cellc rolls". According to this lady cellc does not make sim cards, and sim cards become non functional for no reason. So we just have to accept it and live with it. This lady's reasoning astounded me and left me pondering her intelligence quotient. My contract expires in three months and rest assured Cellc has lost another contract customer due to a call centre agent's incompetence.
