A lady with a very bad attitude called me, about my cell c contract and required me to confirm my ID for security reasons. I then asked her since she has my details, she should read them out to me, so that i can also be sure that im talking to someone from cellc. she then told me to confirm date of birth, i then confirmed my date and month of birth, but not the year. she said because i failed to confirm she was going to suspend my line and i should phone cell c contact centre... after 5 minutes both my lines were suspended. To me that was so uncessary. I'm a client and why should i be threatened for a service that i pay for every month? Cellc does not really value its clients. These contracts are not complemenatry, i pay for them monthly but if they want to cancel they should go ahead and do that. I really don't care, there is MTN, Vodacom, Heita and other service providers that i can use. The lady could have atleast told me what she wanted, why do i have to confirm my details to someone that i also do not know and not sure if she's really from cellc... such a bad attitude... mxmmmm...
