I signed a 2 year contract with 8ta for 10Gigs/month @R199/month. I am about 6 months into the contract and about a month ago my Internet just stopped working. It turns out that my contract was accidentally canceled without my permission or knowledge and they had the nerve to send me a bill with a cancelation fee of about R800. I have gone into the store 4 times to try sort out the problem. I have emailed and phoned numerous times but I can't seem to get any actual answers. I keep getting told that the relevant people have been emailed and given dates when it will be sorted and here I still sit a month later with no Internet, even although they have happily taken my money. Yesterday I was called to say another email had been sent and then today I was told that they can't fix it and want to see if I am interested in another contract!! I want nothing to do with a company who treats their customers like this! When I asked for my money back she said she would send another email!
