I received a phone call from Yolenta Munien from Mobile Elite to say that I qualify for a brand new phone for R99 p/m and that I have been specially selected for handling my account well and that no credit checks are done. I accepted the offer after I said to her it actually sounds to good to be true. I was going to mention the fact that I was sequestrated in 2009, but since she mentioned that I already qualified and no credit checks are done, I left it at that. I received another phone call from rude lady yesterday, 19 June, that wanted to sell me additional products and when I told her I don't need it, she got very rude to me and said that I am wasting her time and she's got other work to do. About 5 minutes after that I received an sms saying that my application has been declined through the credit vetting process. I thought they are not doing credit checks? I NEVER gave them permission to do a credit check as they require my permission. I have been to and sold false information.
