No help with bad network service from Cell C

I have recently had network problems with Vodacom and changed to Cell C, whose coverage map showed my area was covered. On the 10th May I got a tablet on the Cell C network, and I found that the signal strength is 64% and I could only get Edge with an extremely slow data speed. I have since been using my ADSL on wifi and not the 2GB/month of data that I am paying for. I contacted Autopage on 22nd May about this and had no reply to my e-mail. On 29th May, I sent another e-mail asking for an update and was told on 30th May that my problem would be ascalated to Cell C. Cell C should have contacted me within 48 hours, and on 5th June, I sent another e-mail. I was told that my problem would be re-logged and I would be sent a reference number. On 10th June, I hadn't received a reference number, so I sent another e-mail. It is now 19th June and I've had no reply. Why is it that companies like to sweep problems under the carpet instead of actually trying to help a customer with a problem. I am now seriously considering taking all my business from Autopage when my contracts expire.
