Surely the staff could help?

Contract upgraded from Blackberry 8520 to 9320. When asked staff at Northgate to assist with transferring the contact list from the old to the new phone, the response was "how do you open this phone? "

I went into a Cell C store today to ask for help and was advised to connect both phones to my PC and that I would be prompted to switch device. This did not happen and I have spent almost 2 hours on the internet trying to figure out how to transfer the contact list. I've tried everything I could find on the BB forums but nothing is working.

Surely the branch should be able to assist with this as I would expect them to know how to do it.
