In February 2013 we took out to iphone 5 contracts at R410.. p/month each as we also have a data contract with them. A few days into the contract we noticed that we had a lot of dropped calls and unable to log onto the inet. I then contacted the store and they advised that it could be faulty sim cards, a week later they advised that they will send CellC out to our home to assist. After numerous calls to resolve CellC showed up with a laptop and advised that very poor signal at our home and will not be able to do anything to bump up the signal and that they will put in note to cancel contracts. I then called Altech at the Pavillion - KZN and i was asked to bring the handsets in so contract may be cancelled. Handsets were handed to them at the beginning of March. They still continued to bill me and then claimed my account was in arrears, they then also suspended my data contract without my knowledge, the time when i needed it most. I called their call centre more than 50 times now. Always promises but no resolution, now i am asked to pay up my suspended contract so they can re-instate and allocate data, after i had to buy prepaid data, they are simply crazy . frustrated
