Exactly a month ago on 09/05/2013 I upgraded my contract at your Vodashop in Cresta (Alisom Communications). The phone I took is the Blackberry Q10. After about a week and a half I started hearing a popping/crackling/buzzing sound on the earpiece speaker. I wasn't too concerned as I thought it was just because of someone talking loud. Yesterday when I played music on my phone for the 1st time, the music speaker is also faulty and has the popping/crackling sound. Its a brand new phone and both speakers on the device are faulty! I am shocked and horrified! Firstly, I have 4 active contacts with vodacom, and have been with vodacom for many years. I do not complain unnecessarily. Secondly the Q10 is not a cheap phone. It is a high priced device where quality should be guaranteed. I am not happy with the thought of my phone going in for repairs, as firstly, this is a new phone, I do not want it coming back with scratches and marks. Secondly I do not appreciate being left inconvienianced without a phone due to Vodacoms Negligence. Could you please get back to me on the way forward In this matter or I will have this escalated to the Desk of the CEO.
