Debit order date

I always have a problem with 8ta when it comes to a debit order date, they debit my account on the wrong date and when they don't get money, they send my account to the debt collectors and the following both the debt collectors and 8ta debit my account. last month they sent me an sms stating that my account will be debited on the 31/05/2013, it never happened, I am now scared to pay them cash because they will still debit my account on the wrong date. Everytime I phone them, no one has an answer, they always promise to get back to me after quering with billing department but they never return my calls. Please help because I don't know what to do.
