Telkom line Problem ( 5th time )
There has been a on going problem on my line now for 5 months! they fix it then 2 weeks later the same thing. I have never experienced such poor service delivery from a service provider before. I phoned the fault line Yesterday 11/6/2012 and reported slow speeds on my line, a Techy was then dispatched to the exchange and moved my line over to a new port. i then tested it and it was worse than before i told him this on the phone and he told me he would phone ask them to reboot my port. nothing happened so i phoned the technical department and asked them to reboot my port. the speed was really slow the whole night. I then phoned Telkom today 12/6/2013 and asked them what was the fault progress on my line. haha this is the funny thing the lady told me its because Im a uncapped user and that's why my speed is like this? What! I said are u sure she replied and said yes, i then asked her just to retry rebooting my port again and we can check my speed again, she rebooted my port and we checked i get a download speed of 0.4kbs on a 2mb line! I should at lest be getting a 1.7mb DL speed i said to her.. she then checked again and said to me that there is a problem at the exchange.
