After months of bad service (http:///mweb/complaints/constant-bad-service-1038166) I cancelled my contract.
10 days after the cancellation, I still struggled to get MWEB to migrate my line to Telkom to allow my new ISP to take it over.
After continuously receiving (spam) sms and emails about all the fault on the MWEB service, I send email again and ask to please be removed and that MWEB must stop contacting me. I received read receipts of this email, but until today not one single response from them (not strange, since it happened while I was a client as well).
After about 4 weeks, I still receive SMS and emails from MWEBBUSOPS.
According to the Electronic Communication Act, I am allowed to opt out of any service, I they must respect that. This is turning into a criminal act on their part.
