I bought a new iphone 5 from MTN on the 28/05/2013 and i wanted my number to be ported to my old number, therefore i was told the porting takes between 24 - 48 hours and to date that has not happened. i called the call centre numerous times and i was always reffered back to the Mtn shop where i purchased the phone and the guy (Aluta) at the shop told me it should go through. i`m tired of being sent from piller to post. Can i cancel the contract and return the handset, because it makes no sense in holding the phone that has no service. i`m very disappointed with the kind of service i have received thus far from MTN.
