Telkom and City of Joburg must have same system!

I moved to CPT in Dec. I closed my JHB account and requested a line be installed in CPT where I would be in a temporary place for 4 months before moving into my new house in April.

So... this was obviously too complex for Telkom. The line was never activated in the first location. When I followed up to get it installed in the 2nd location (ie in April) I was told that they cannot do this as I owe R 3000 them for the first location... apparently their records show that it was installed. I logged a dispute and asked them to look at the line usage (which would show no usage as I never had an active line and logged several follow up calls prior to April to try and get the line in because i use it for business).

I'm STILL waiting for feedback after 3 months. I just called and was told I need to log yet another dispute as the first ones were closed...

Mmmm... Neotel? Any other suggestions? We need some competitors in this country!!!

PS: I have been a Telkom client for 15 yrs.
