No connection after multiple attempts

I needed to do a sim swap from contract to prepaid. I went to my local Autopage in Springs, and was advised to call the customer and port my number to prepaid. Instead of porting my number, it was cancelled and removed off the network all together.
It has now been 10 days, and I still don't have any service. I have had to drive to Menlyn, where they they couldn't assist me, then was advised to go to head office Midrand. In all of this driving driving around I had to pay an additional connection fee and still have no connection.
I have lost business as I have no other number for clients to contact me.
This is very frustrating and a waste of my time, as no one can help me. The only answer I get is, "wait 24 hrs, and you should be connected" Well I am not. The service I have received thus far has been poor, and my issue has not been resolved. I am tied of using my time, petrol and money to resolve an issue that doesn't with me.
My brother has also been "phoneless" over the same issue. As his contract is also under my name. This is unacceptable from a so-called service provider.
Looking forward to a prompt response with a resolution and some form of compensation.
