Hi,
Many years ago I signed up for a contract with Cell C for my wife. My wife always enjoyed good network service and was a good ambassador for Cell C. However, a few weeks ago my wife's current phone was not getting any signal and no calls or messaging could take place. Believing it was her phone, and fortunately it was upgrade time, we quickly upgraded her phone to the new Samsung S3 mini. However, the same problem persisted; still no network in Waterfall, so it is not the phone. We did lodge a complaint with Hillcrest Cell C in KZN stating that outside of Waterfall there is signal, but inside Waterfall there is none.

Over the past three weeks, due to massive building and road infrastructure upgrade, we did see a network tower being dismantled. It was at that time that the signal began to fail and has been dead ever since.

I need to know if Cell C will rectify this non-service delivery, or must I cancel the contract and return the phone as I am under right to do so in alignment with the consumer protection act. Please advise. Please contact me on my cell number as you will, for obvious reasons, not be able to contact my wife.
