What a bunch of!! And doing business without FICA documents!
I spoke to Bramwell (consultant) to transfer my internet package from Telkom to Mweb. He sent me the forms (which I completed) and he expressly stated that if I did not provide the supporting documents (for FICA purposes) within a week, my account would be automatically cancelled. After chatting to Telkom to cancel my account, I decided to stay with Telkom and did not provide the FICA documentation to Mweb assuming my account would be automatically cancelled. It was not and I received my first statement. I sent an email to Bramwell advising him that this was incorrect and I should be refunded the amount deducted. I received a call from Shane (cancellations dept) who advised that they will only refund a partial amount and will cancel the account. Obviously he did neither and they have now deducted a further months subscription. The call centre will chat to somebody to get something done!
