I have had enough now. i upgraded on Saturday, 1 June and had to do a sim swap as my new phoe uses a micro simcard. i got tol it would take 4 hours to activate.
Sunday morning still no service. i phoned 808 and got told that no sim swop was done. i then phoned the MTN Irene branch and got promised that everything is now sorted.
Today, mondy 3 June, still no service. phoned 808 and no sim swop registered. i then called the irene branch again and got told all will be sorted. i had to wait 10 min before switching my phone on. i still have no service and now no one answers the MTN Irene branch phone.
This is pathetic. i have been with MTN for 13 years now but are really considering going to another network.
does anyone actually know what they are doing???
