Vodashop needs repairs to its service

My blackberry was handed in for repairs as it had a faulty battery connection and kept turning off. It is 5 months old and under warranty. I received an sms saying it will cost R2461.17 to repair. I phoned Vodacom Repair shop-Tygervalley to query this and got cut off 5 times as the incompetent, inefficient manager tried to muster up something to tell me. I was told my phone has water damage-yet it has never been near water in 5 months. The incompetent and extremely rude manager told me it could be due to doing kettle bells in the gym and sweating! I have never ever heard of such nonsense and have never done kettle bells in my life. I asked for the report to be emailed to me-this could not be done. i asked for a reference number for the call-I was told she did not understand what I was asking!!! What level of education and training do these employees receive? I have never dealt with such rudeness, incompetence, inefficient people EVER. From a inside person I have been told that when a phone has to be replaced, it is often easier to blame "Water damage" I have no proof that my phone has not been tampered with and I find it an exceptionally easy way to avoid the consumer protection act
