Took a contract upgrade for the S4 on the 24/05/13 from the Site store @ Boulders Mall (Midrand), when given the contract the contract taken was an M-Smart which we informed to the LADY assisting us that we would like to have it limited so that the bill doesn't exceed the contract plan we on, she agreed to have this done, further more NO ALERT of the DATA being in contineous use for the device even when NOT browsing (WHICH TO ME IS NOT FIT & PROPER ADVICE OR FINANCIAL SOUND ADVICE) as this to our knowledge was supposed to be about R500 -p/m... only been 4days since contract phone recieved & we get an sms notifying us that our DATA USAGE IS R4430 - *SHOCKED* if we were made aware of the background usage of data we'd not even opt for the phone & also we confirmed with the Advisor at the time to limit the contract which clearly says she didn't after seeing this sms, NOW THE REAL QUESTION'S ARE :
1) Were is the fit & proper policy of selling a device "with knowledge that this device runs contineous applications WHICH BILLS THE CLIENT & not informing/ at lead alerting them of this caution?
2) I DON'T see how is it in ONLY "4-DAYS" without informing us & now expecting payment? NOT ON!!!
