I have received a Cell C bill which indicates an amount for "Calls" made on my data contract. Apparently I inadvertently (by clicking on some mysterious link) subscribed to "mothumbs" on a daily subscription for the past month. Upon querying with Cell C I was told that they cannot help me and that I must contact some other service provider (Smartcall or [URL Removed] I was never informed by Cell C that they will be billing me in lieu of another service provider. I want an answer from Cell C as to the agreement they have made with third party service providers as it seems as though Cell C is billed and they are recovering the cost from me. Cell C is disgustingly in cohorts with these service providers and have no transparency in their billing process. I will be contacting all the consumer related bodies as Cell C seems to only care about the R17.55 a day that they are billing me for.By the way - I have open query regarding the breach of contract when you sold me the data service... you sold me a 3 month carry over period for my data but in fact it doesn't..I am now afraid to use the product as my experiencing is worsening... never will I buy a Cell C product again...
